Spoiler warning

We see Ed (the main character) being visited by McQueen (his former lover), the reunion between them is painful, for both of them. Ed still has pain for the publicity that ruined his life and ended his relationship (the publicity didn't though just brought conflict to the surface that made separation the only option). With the meeting, they talk, McQueen misses his former lover and apologizes. Ed while still hurt and pained, especially after his ("criminal violation" by his one time best friend) he still talks with his former flame. They do leave together but part, as Ed has to work and McQueen kisses Ed good bye. Though the last scene shows McQueen either is shocked at the intensity of what they felt or that he did not feel anything at all, though he is clearly still interested sexually in Ed.
